Olle Eksell

This man is a genius and one of my biggest inspirations-
The late illustrator and artist Olle Eksell from Sweden.

Olle Eksell (1918-2007)

Olle Eksell made himself a name as an innovator of artistic graphic designs for utility goods during the 1950´ies. He became inspired by the American way of life, after having spent a short period at an art-school in Los Angeles. When he returned to Sweden, he started working as an illustrator, advertising expert and exhibition curator.

Kauniste

When i saw the designs by Kauniste i knew it was love at first sight.
I could decorate my whole house with their beautiful prints......*sigh*

Leena is an illustrator and designer at Kauniste, a company making beautiful hand printed tea towels inspired by the Finnish kitchen linens from the 60s’ and 70s’.

A Danish born actress, director and screenwriter and one of the pioneers of the French New Wave.
Love her mod style. Those black round glasses, bob hairstyle with fringe, and black eyeliner. Stunning woman!
